Steve walks the commuting alternative talk. And bike rides it, and jogs it,
and sometimes even cross country skis it. He once left his car parked for so
long that its theft went unnoticed for a few days. As the founder of Place
Creative Company, Steve’s unwavering focus and wryly-humored imagination has
propelled many strong Vermont brands into the national spotlight – without
the fluff and slickness that wouldn’t work here anyway. He’s a tall mix of
cool and campy, quick with a cultural reference and even quicker to prove
that nice guys never really finish last.

Steve founded Place Creative Company with the single-minded goal of bringing a more “brandcentric” approach to marketing. “We started Place to cut through the big agency red tape and create more authentic and soulful brands for our clients.” Before founding Place, Steve worked with Griffin Design and Brick House Creative Co. creating corporate identity systems, packaging/product design and environments that delivered corporate messages with excitement and inventiveness. His work includes creative solutions for Revlon, Rossignol, Autumn Harp and Bertelsmann Media Systems.

Steve graduated cum laude from Syracuse University where he
studied communication design.
