Getting the message out about affordable child care for all Vermonters
There’s no second chance for a strong start. That was the central message behind our campaign work with Let’s Grow Kids, an organization whose mission is to ensure affordable access to high-quality child care for all Vermont families by 2025. After all, 3 out of 5 of Vermont’s youngest children don’t have access to the child care they need. That means too many kids are missing out on a strong start in life. We worked with their team to develop a multi-channel campaign to increase support. The campaign launched with a kit of video assets focused on “sassy kids” who are saying cynical things adults often say about child care. We wanted them to drive home the absurdity of each notion and make the notion behind each premise laughable. Images of the “sassy kids” supported the rest of the campaign through digital ads, a website homepage, e-mail marketing, and social media assets.
