Privateer Rum

Packaging a Brand with Rich History

Andrew Cabot, (1750–1791) was a merchant and a Privateer during the American Revolution. Part patriot, part high stakes entrepreneur, Privateers took up the fight against the formidable Royal Navy. They became wealthy men by capturing British ships or perished as common pirates if caught. Six generations later, Cabot’s descendant of the same name started a rum distillery to pay homage to his ancestry and the time-honored art of distilling rum. We worked closely with Andrew to create an integrated brand that captures the integrity and spirit of the new American rum revolution.
